Benzema is more legendary for Real Madrid
Benzema is a unique example in modern soccer of a hard worker who became cool against the odds. Coming to Real Madrid, he didn’t start shining right away. Karim lost competition to Iguaen, suffered criticism from the media, fans and coaches. Mourinho mocked Benzema, compared him to a cat taken on a hunt instead of a dog. Karim worked hard, helped the club in every way he could, and did not hesitate to play the role of a shell carrier for Cristiano Ronaldo. After a while, we realized how unique a partner Karim was to the Portuguese.
Benzema, even in Ronaldo’s shadow, was a great footballer with a huge arsenal of skills. Do you remember his legendary feint in 2017 in the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid?
